Laura Obzera Pedo Elementary Nurse
Laura J. Obzera, Bolingbrook elementary school nurse faces a potential prison sentence after admitting she had sexual contact three years ago with a teenage boy.
Bolingbrook police began investigating Obzera in early September 2008, after being contacted by officials of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. DCFS workers asked police to look into “inappropriate text messages of a sexual nature” being sent between a teenage boy and an adult, later identified as Obzera, Bolingbrook police Cmdr. Tom Ross said last year.
