Maria Guzman Hernandez Pedo Middle School Teacher
Maria Guzman Hernandez , Florida, a 32-year-old sixth-grade teacher at Our Lady of Charity Catholic School in Hialeah, Fla. has been arrested for repeatedly having sex with a 15-year-old student. The victim’s mother reportedly approved of the relationship.
The teacher, who is estranged from her husband to investigators that she was “going through a lot in her life,” according to court documents.
Hernandez was booked into jail on charges of sexual battery on a child over whom she had custodial authority. She was released after posting a $10,000 bond.
