Loni Folks Pedo Elementary Teacher
Loni Folks is a former fifth-grade teacher at W.L. Smith Elementary in Petal, Mississippi.
At age 24, Folks was charged with sexual battery of a 16-year-old male student.
Currently, Loni Folks has been suspended and is serving 12 years in prison followed by five years probation.
I was a Student of Mrs. Folks in 2006. I do remember her being a rather nice person, but did notice something strange. She always looked at the guys different from the girls. I wasn’t surprised when I heard what had happen. I personally think you cannot rape a 16 year old boy, but the law is the law. She chose to do it now she must pay the price. I’m very ashamed of her. She has 2 little girls and supposedly a husband. I feel for her little girls, and the rest of her family of course. Loni needs to stay in there for a while. I personally wouldn’t allow her to teach anymore but I don’t know how they are handling that. Anyway, I believe that Loni Folks chose horribly in that situation and needs to stay out of the school systems.
