Meet Heather Shelton, a 22-year-old teacher’s assistant at North Buncombe High School in North Carolina was charged with having sex with a 19-year-old student. In North Carolina, it is a felony for any teacher to have sex with a student regardless of the age of the student. What was more ridiculous was that the man wasn’t even her student and the two didn’t meet at the school.
Verdict: Not Guilty.

You have on your page a photograph of Heather Shelton, who is by your own admission Not Guilty but the article about her is titled “Heather Shelton Pedo High School Teacher”, and she has her photograph tagged as “Pedo High School Teacher”. Unless you have evidence that she worked at Pedo High School you are guilty of destroying her innocence through malicious libel. If I knew her I would encourage her to sue.
This poor girl does not deserve to have her picture posted on this website.
Agreed with the first poster — as someone with some experience with libel issues, i tell you this is a very clear-cut case. for your own legal safety, you should take down this post.
I am glad to see that small minded people still sit here years later and post such malicious things. I AM NOT a pedophile or child molester. As a matter of fact……these charges were dismisssed against me more than 3 years ago!! Do your research before you post things that are so untrue.

mrs shelton i am sorry this happened to you. I am on the registry. I am in s.c. And whats sad is that i asked for a jury trial from my public defender and he said no. All someone has to do is write a statement here in s.c. And youre arrested it doesnt matter if youre guilty or innocent. If you have alot of money here in s.c. You can make things happen for you. I have lost everything. A man here ran his car through a house killed someone he was speeding and they said he was drunk he didnt spend a day in jail and basically got off scot free. Sue the hell out of the publisher
